Your name, email address and Medical Council registration number are requested for verification purposes, to ensure the integrity of the Statement in Support of Retaining the Three-day Wait before Abortion (hereafter “the Statement”).
Other details are requested to create summary statistics.
How your data is processed
Your data is processed based on your consent.
[GROUP] is responsible for the processing of personal data submitted through this website. [GROUP] are a group of doctors who have initiated a Statement by doctors for Oireachtas members.
Your name will be provided to Oireachtas members as a signatory of the Statement.
Your name may be added to the list of signatories displayed with the Statement on this website, but only if you tick the optional box while completing the form to indicate that you agree to have your name displayed.
Your email address and Medical Council registration number will not be provided to members of the Oireachtas, displayed on this website, shared with other signatories, or shared with other parties.
Other data collected through the form will be provided to Oireachtas members in a summary format, for example comments and a breakdown of specialties, without identifying information.
Your email address will be used to confirm receipt of your signature, and to inform you of updates or issues relevant to the Statement, such as the outcome of Dáil votes on the bill referenced in the Statement.
Your data will be stored while the Oireachtas is continuing to consider the proposed changes referenced in the Statement.
Your rights
You can access, correct, or delete your data, restrict or object to its use, and make a complaint to the Data Protection Commission.
